WELCOME TO MY WORLD! COLIN AND I ARE SO THANKFUL FOR OUR FAMILY!

QUOTE OF THE DAY–BE THANKFUL FOR THE LARGE THINGS, SMALL THINGS AND MOST OF ALL THE TINY LITTLE THINGS! 5 year old Morrison, 4 year old Gennings had their Thanksgiving Program. Approximately 40 little 4,5,and 6 year olds playing the part of pilgrims. A scarecrow, pumpkin and Morrison played the part of a turkey. She did a great job. Gennings was a little pilgrim and recited her part perfectly. So much to be thankful for. CHAPTER 4–“Rose’s Betrayal And Survival”—- All the chores were still waiting for her. Rose fed and watered the horses first, then she milked the cow. It was getting easier. She took care of the chickens, including gathering the eggs. She heard the big old rooster in flight behind her. Quickly turning, she moved back, and lifted her dress. Her leg sent him upside-down on the barn floor. He staggered to his feet, shook his head, ruffled his feathers, and wandered off. The rooster would test her at different times but Rose was always watching him.

WELCOME TO MY WORLD! PRAY FOR THE TORNADO VICTIMS!

QUOTE OF THE DAY! “Reading books take you to places you may never get to go!” Page 4 in 1st. “Rose Donlin” series. Rose thought the weeds and brush even looked dry, and some tumbleweeds blew across the trail as the horses kept up their steady gait. Rose had seen only two farmsteads on the trip from town. She missed seeing the many trees that surrounded her home. She thought the country was so desolate, and suddenly she felt very lonely and homesick. She had never been this far from home before. http://www.collmannwarehouse.com phyllisacollmann.com

WELCOME TO MY WORLD! Love Books!

Quote of the day–“When you write with Love in your heart, only good will come to you” This is the second paragraph on the back of the first Rose book. “Rose’s Betrayal And Survival” What Rose finds when she reaches the Oklahoma wilderness is a sick, grizzled, old man. Though scared, she finds herself able to survive extreme weather, animal attacks, dangerous trespassers, and more. Join Rose in her late 1880’s struggle to change herself from a young, scared, city girl to a skilled, quick-witted survivalist in Phyllis A. Collmann’s Rose’s Betrayal and Survival. While Rose learns everything there is to know about wilderness survival and overcoming obstacles, she also gains more valuable life lessons in the bargain: friendship, kindness, contentment, and forgiveness. Morrison, age 5 and Gennings Grace age 4 have conquered the escalator better than I have. We ride the escalator up into Target after dance class and have pizza on Thurs afternoon.

WELCOME TO MY WORLD! “ROSE’S BETRAYAL AND SURVIVAL”

QUOTE OF THE DAY: THE END RESULT FOR THE LOVE OF WRITING IS SEEING YOUR BOOK PUBLISHED: At seventeen, Rose Donlin never suspected that her world would change so completely. Her mother’s death leaves her father unable to care for Rose. He does the unthinkable, he sells Rose to a stranger in Oklahoma for fifty dollars. (This is a paragraph from the back cover of the 1st “Rose Donlin” series story. I continue to try and get my books into Chicago but to no avail. Only known authors get their books out into the public. But I will not give up as I am having the first 1/4th of the new book edited this week, “Rose Donlin-The Next Generation” Colin and I drove North to Arlington Heights Library and left 2 sets of the “Rose Donlin” series for 2 different Readers Club. Chicago will not help me sell my books any where in Chicago.

WELCOME TO MY WORLD! GOING HOME FOR A FEW DAYS!

We left Monday morning for our farm in Iowa. We have the truck and the plan is to bring our car back to Chicago. Parking spaces are hard to get into with a truck. The weather looks good for traveling for 9 hours. I would like to tell you about a story. I wrote about a family expecting a baby on Christmas morning. The book is called “Christmas At Our House” The story is about a baby born to a poor mining family with ten children in 1930. He was born as expected early on Christmas morning and they knew he was different but had no idea he had Down Syndrome. The book makes a wonderful Christmas gift. 1-712-540-4082
