WELCOME TO MY WORLD:”DISAPPOINTMENT THE FIELDS ARE NOT WET”

QUOTE OF THE DAY:”LEARN SOMETHING EVERY DAY”—Colin and I have traveled a lot from our Condo in Chicago to our farm in Northwest Iowa but this trip home to the farm was a trip for us to remember a long time. We knew it was going to be stormy but we thought we could beat it. We stopped at a drive through for coffee. Colin rolled down his window and drove away. He pushed on the up button to roll it back up and the window refused to move, no matter how he worked on it. Then, it started to rain. The rain storm was now over us. We pulled over at a weight station and Colin tore apart a box after emptying books out of it. He stuck it down into the window frame, then, slammed the top in the door. The storm lasted from Iowa City to the turn north on Hwy 29. He was a little wet but we made it. Today the window is being fixed.—From the new book—“Rose Donlin-The Next Generation”—CHAPTER 20—They crossed the creek and rode back to where the swimming water was the best. The boy jumped off and yelled, “This is my sister, Rainbow End pointing to a small dark skinned girl of seven. That was the first meeting.—wwwcollmannwarehouse.com

WELCOME TO MY WORLD: “lOOKING FORWARD TO PLANTING SPRING FLOWERS”

QUOTE OF THE DAY: ALWAYS BE PREPARED FOR SURPRISES! Colin, Melonie, Morrison, Gennings and myself attended Easter Sunrise Church in Missouri. Melonie sang and the Ministers wife gave a skit on Jesus’ last days and his rising from the tomb. It was so inspiring and touching. A big “Shout Out” to Morrison and Gennings for a seven hour ride going and coming home in the car.——CHAPTER FROM NEW BOOK—“ROSE DONLIN–THE NEXT GENERATION”–They found talking to each other so easy. Gerhard told Myra how his meeting with his birth mother started. He explained how better she was after all these years. She had not been able to put the bad past out of her mind until he told her his story how very much she had done for him by giving him up to a loving couple who could not have a family.–www.collmannwarehouse.com

WELCOME TO MY WORLD: THREE DAYS AT THE RALSTON ARENA IN OMAHA AND 3 DAYS AT THE ODEUM IN CHICAGO.

QUOTE OF THE DAY: “HUMANS ARE BORN TO LOVE AND BE LOVED”—We have had a wonderful two weeks selling the “Rose Donlin” books, first at the Ralston, Arena in Omaha, Neb. and then the Odeum in Chicago. People were most wonderful to try a new book written by an unknown author. The Luban girls, Morrison and Gennings Grace came Sat. and Sunday to help me. We all love little children, so they handed out brochures for me. They met a great singer from Omaha and danced on stage while she sang. And a great big Thank You to husband COLIN for all the help he gives me. It doesn’t get any better than that.—“Rose Donlin–The Next Generation”—CHAPTER 27–Myra slowly crawled down and threw her reins around a broken post. She reached her hand out to the door latch and suddenly the door opened and the most handsome man she had ever seen stood looking at what he thought was a young boy. “What do you want boy? the young man said in a deep rich voice. Myra’s hand went up and grabbed her old worn out hat and ripped it off of her head. Her long thick dark hair came falling down over her shoulders to the middle of her back. His mouth dropped open.” http://www.collmannwarehouse

WELCOME TO MY WORLD: “WE ARE SO THANKFUL FOR FAMILY”

QUOTE OF THE DAY: “KIND DEEDS COME BACK TEN-FOLD”—We are home for two days. a big thank you to our son Ronald and his wife Pam Summner Collmann for letting us stay the week-end. The food was so, so good.—The Craft Fair was great. I sold lots of the “Rose Donlin Series” When you are an unknown author, I am grateful for everyone who purchased the books. Next week we have another Craft Show at the Odeum Arena in Chicago, IL.——The new book–“Rose Donlin–THE NEXT GENERATION”—CHAPTER 28–Rose could feel the love David Ross was talking about. She also knew the heartache that he would face in his life because she knew how her good friend Blue Sky was treated by her own people and also the bad treatment Albert received because of Blue Sky. http://www.collmannwarehouse.com
